Adani Power on Thursday reported an 11% year-on-year (YoY) fall in its consolidated net profit at Rs 2,953 crore for the second quarter as compared to Rs 3,332 crore posted in the year-ago period. The profit after tax (PAT) is attributable to the equity holders of the parent.

The company’s revenue from operations in the quarter under review stood at Rs 13,457 crore, which was up 0.9% over Rs 13,339 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.

The net profit fell nearly 13% on a sequential basis compared to Rs 3,384 crore reported in the April-June quarter of the last financial year, while the top line also witnessed a 4.6% decline over Rs 14,109 crore in Q1FY26.

Post earnings announcement, shares of Adani Power dropped 1%, hitting the day’s low of Rs 160.80.
